My first career was challenging and fulfilling, planning various aspects of carrying out privatisations, which honed my organisational and management skills.  Then I walked away from that and became a mission worker, living in three different southern African countries and helping to manage a variety of Christian NGOs.

Forced by ill health to return to England, I set myself up as a landscape gardener, enjoying the design and implementation of new schemes.  Today this experience provides me with a wealth of metaphor as I mentor and encourage Christians, as well as continuing to develop my own garden.

Over the past 20 years, I have supported mission workers worldwide, travelling extensively and working across cultures. I speak several foreign languages, which has helped me build strong connections in diverse settings.  I founded and led my own charity and managed multiple international networks, gaining valuable leadership and organisational experience which helps me today in helping to leadand manage several UK charities.
